| "My Anchor and Lighthouse"
We
lay hold on the hope set
before us. |
The
Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Ps.27:1.
He
is the anchor of my soul and a strong tower. He is
the solid rock on which I stand. He is my salvation,
fortress, deliverer, protector and shield. His
name is "life, love, and liberty. The name of Jesus is
authority. It brings deliverance and healing. His name
restores and gives new life and hope to all who call upon
Him in faith believing. Our hope in Christ is an anchor
which keeps us from drifting into the unsafe waters of life.
He
is the lighthouse which guides the earthly vessels way through
the storms of life. His light that shines through
the windows of my soul guides this ship safely through
life's uncertain waters. The waters may be rough, but
the light from "The Lighthouse" will be a
light unto my path until I reach the final safety of
Heaven's shores.
He
can calm the winds and the waves when He whispers
"peace be still". He is all
powerful and all knowing. He is ever faithful,
always true, holy, and just. He is the Righteous
Judge and High Priest. He is the First and the
Last, the Beginning and the End. Jesus is our
Intercessor to the Father and soon coming King. He is
the Alpha and Omega and will rule eternally.
There are
many earthly lighthouses which guide the way for ships
at sea. There is only one spiritual
"Lighthouse" to guide vessels made of clay
safely home where they will be given an incorrupitable body.
He
is the Living Word which will never fail and never pass
away.
Look
up today to your Lighthouse. Without this
Lighthouse our earthly vessels would have no hope. With
Jesus we have a sure foundation and a blessed hope. We
are anchored to the firm foundation. He is the Rock on
which we can stand. We may bend with the winds
of life and sands of time, but our Rock will hold us as
the light guides us.
We
are one day closer in the seas of time to our
final destination. There will be no more sorrow or
pain and all will be peace and joy forevermore.
Thank
Him today for He is truly a Living Lighthouse of Love which
brings eternal Life. He makes you His "Holy
Spirit filled Temple" and dwells within to bring peace
and comfort to your soul.
Praise
Him today for He is our Everything. Stay anchored
to the hand of Jesus and He will guide you safely to your
heavenly destination.
