Let There Be Light

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105 {N.I.V.}

We all need to see the path ahead as we walk through this life. We have light available if we seek the "right ways" of God.

There is only "one way" to Heaven and it can only
be found by walking in the light of the Lord.
Those in Bible days did not have the lights we
have today to help them see on dark nights, but they had the best lighting system in the World!
God went before them on their journeys in a pillar of a cloud by day and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light.  His leading enabled them to find their way in spite of the dangers in the wilderness they walked through.   At night, he even separated them from the enemy who
was in pursuit, and protected them on their journey to the promised land.  As long as they let the Lord lead them in their travels, they were safe and had assurance of a safe journey.

We have this same guidance spiritually to help us each new day.  Our Lord also goes before us as we walk upward on the King's Highway.
His Holy Spirit will always prepare the way when we seek Him in prayer.   God knows how to prepare hearts of others to receive His Words
and will go before us by His Spirit.   The words we speak are not our words, but belong to Christ who is alive within our hearts when we are being led by Him.   We will see things as they really are when we are walking in the light of the Lord and letting him shine. God's light discloses only truth as it reveals and illuminates the way.

He will never lead us into temptation but always
goes before us and delivers us from evil which may be ahead when we ask Him.   With every
temptation, there is a way of escape with our Lord.   All we have to do is follow Him and know
by faith we are on the right path.   He is the
'Living Word' and 'Bread of Life' from above. He
will never leave or forsake us and will abide forever.

Thanks be unto the Lord for His Word which is a lamp to us in this dark world. We give thanks for the light of this world, Jesus, who lives within our hearts.  Make the world a brighter place for
someone today by sharing Christ and his love.

Blessings in Christ,

                               Through Me

Let there be kind words, a warm smile, and a caring heart.
Through me let there be a willingness to listen and a readiness to understand.
Through me let there be dependability, steadfastness, trust and loyalty.
Through me let there be compassion, forgiveness, mercy and love.
Through me let there be every quality I find, O Lord, in Thee.

                      Happy Trails
Every person has the power to make others happy.
Some do it simply by entering a room--
others by leaving the room.
Some individuals leave trails of gloom;
others, trails of joy.
Some leave trails of hate and bitterness;
others, trails of love and harmony.
Some leave trails of cynicism and pessimism;
others trails of faith and optimism.
Some leave trails of criticism and resignation;
others trails of  gratitude and hope.
What kind of trails do you leave?
