Peace Forevermore

We have many blessed promises for the future. One of the promises is that God himself shall wipe away all tears from the eyes of his children. All former things will pass away and peace shall reign forevermore when the Lord returns.  Every knee shall bow and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.

There will be no more pain, sorrow, death, or worry, forevermore. This is a wonderful truth for all who hold on to the unchanging hand of Jesus. We have a promise of eternal life, joy and peace.
God will have the last word in all situations you may be going through today in your life.  If you have lost loved ones or friends to death, there will be a great reunion in heaven.  If you suffer sickness or pain in your body, there will be eternal healing and no more suffering in our heavenly home.

In that City, there will never be the sound of emergency sirens rushing to an accident.  There will be no more phone calls with the news that someone dear has just passed away.  There will be no need for funeral homes as death will be swallowed up in victory.  There will be no more visits to Doctors or hospitals as the Great Physician will make whole all who enter in.

No grave markers will be found in that city as the 'Resurrection and Life' will raise all souls to a final judgment. There will be no more abortion clinics and millions of innocent babies whose blood was shed and life taken will be in heaven with the Lord.  There will be no more orphanages, no more retirement centers, no need for homes for the aged, no mental institutions, and no poverty or welfare departments.  All who enter in will 'fare well' in that great and glorious City of our coming Lord and King.

Death will be swallowed up in final victory and there will be no more sin on that day when
we see our Lord "face to face" and behold his beauty and glory.  There will be beautiful mansions and room for all as promised by our Lord when he went away.  Where He is, we shall be also as He has prepared a place for us.  Streets of purest gold and walls of jasper will be  a beautiful sight, but our Lord will outshine all the beauty and splendor of that city.

Nothing made by man will be in heaven except the scars in the hands and feet of Jesus.  All things shall be made new as the elements melt with fervent heat and the new earth is filled with the glory of the Lord.  Those who love Him will be in that number who inherit eternal life.  These will be called 'faithful servants' by our Lord when he says, "well done--enter in," to all who endure by faith until the end.  We have all these promises to claim and the assurance of a
better country awaiting us.

We do not know all about the things we can expect in the New Jerusalem, but we do have a glimpse into the heavenly promises and rewards for the faithful. This is enough for us to understand that eternity with Christ will be more wonderful than anything which we could ever imagine or comprehend here on this earth.  One day we will cross over from this life into the promised land and forever be with the one who gave his life for us.  Until that day may we be a faithful servants in God's army and fight for the right in the good fight of faith.  It will be worth it after all when we look upon the face of our Savior and behold his love for us.

God's Word tells his children, "weeping may endure for a night  but joy comes in the morning." What a wonderful day that will be!
The best is yet to come for the child of God!
"Keep Holding On!"

Blessings in Christ,

                                   Eternal Joy

Can you imagine the joy that awaits on heaven's shore
When we see our Lord and dwell with him forevermore?
New Jerusalem will come down from the Father above.
Glory and splendor will be in that city filled with God's eternal love.

The Son shall be the light which shines for all to see.
Jesus shall reign forever as the one who died to set us free.
Peace shall fill that city as loved ones we behold.
And rejoicing shall be heard on streets of purest gold.

Little children playing in the streets will behold the wondrous sights.
The lame will walk again in the land where there is no night.
The Crystal River will flow freely from the midst of heaven's throne.
And God will dwell with his people in their new eternal home.

That day will come as promised and we shall behold his face.
The trump of God shall sound for all who receive his amazing grace.
The dead in Christ shall rise and those alive shall be caught up in the air.
We shall meet our Lord in the skies and his love forever share.

Jesus will outshine them all!
