He Will

  "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty,
    He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy;
    He will rest in his love,  He will joy over thee
     with singing."
                           Zeph. 3: 17.

The above Scripture mentions four things which "He" will do for us in addition to always being with us. He made us and rejoices over his "new creation" which is now "in Him" and made for his glory.

It is a great thought to know God not only will save us, but will take great delight in us. He rejoices in us when we rejoice in Him and claim his promises by faith believing.

God will quiet us when the sound of the enemy tries to overwhelm us.  He quiets us with His unfailing love and rests within us. Not only will he quiet us and give us rest, He also will rejoice over us with singing.

Do we ever picture our Lord as singing?  God's Word tells us He 'rejoices' over us with singing'.  He also makes a joyful sound as he touches our lives with peace and joy. The song He places in our hearts has a melody that only Jesus can whisper.  Let him whisper his melody of love unto your heart today.  Join in a song of praise and sing a 'new song'
unto the Lord.  He will receive the song of your heart and accept your praise unto Him.

Remember, "when the praises go up, the blessings come down". Ask the Father to let his Holy Spirit "rain on us today". There is no "dry or thirsty ground" which the Lord cannot bring the rains of His Spirit and refresh.

Rain on us Lord, you have sent your spirit to revive us again, O Lord.  We give thanks today that you delight in us with singing and quiet us with your sweet spirit of peace.
Amen

Blessings in Christ,
