Wonderful,
Isn't He
Blessed Saviour born in Bethlehem,
Humbly
lay in a manager filled with hay,
Was
Christ our Lord robed in flesh,
Who
came to earth that first Christmas Day.
This
Savior was called Wonderful,
Mighty
God and Prince of Peace,
Born
to die for the sins of men,
And
bring a Kingdom which would never cease.
Holy
Lord, was this child of Mary,
Son
of God and King of Kings,
Shepherds
came to adore Him,
Wise
men worshipped while angels sang.
From
a babe in a manger,
To
Calvary's hill and the rugged tree,
From
the cross to a borrowed tomb,
He
was raised in glory that we might be set
free.
Mary's
child, Son of God,
Plan
fulfilled of the Great "I AM",
Great
High Priest and Intercessor,
Forever
will His Kingdom stand.
"Wonderful,
Isn't He",
His
virgin Mother spoke in awe and praise,
This
child of God grew in love and wisdom,
A supreme
sacrifice, His life freely gave.
Resurrected
in power and victory,
He
led those captive to a home on high,
Wonderful,
Counselor, soon coming King,
Because
He lives, we shall never die.
Wonderful,
Isn't He?
