Directions
.Take the Zvishavane Road  out of Gweru and travel for 86 kilometres and turn right onto a gravel road. Proceed along this road till you find a road on your right with a sign saying Shabani Mine Club. EITHER turn right and follow the road to the club premises OR proceed straight on to reach the dam wall area (about 22 kilometres from the main road).

Facilities
Angling Societies There is only the Shabani Mine Club that have facilities at the dam. Camping sites and Picnic areas are available and there is a daily fee for staying and entrance to the site. LAunching is fairly easy from a designated area
Dam Wall area
At the dam wall area there are some slabs where the old shelters were that you can use for camping, and there are concrete tables and chairs. There is a small concrete slipway there also but condition unknown

Beware of Hippos that are in the dam. No crocodiles were seen !!!!
