Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur West Bengal, Kharagpur - 721302, India "Dedicated to the Service of the Nation" |
Indian Institute of Technology is among the premier educational institutions in India and doesn't need any introduction to anyone.
This curriculum was introduced in 1998 to bridge the gap between Mathematics and Computer. Few of my interesting courses includes Topology, Theory of Database System, AI, Computer Network,
Opt. by Vector Space Method, Graph Th. and Algo., Th. Of OS, Th. Of Compiler Design, Cryptography and Network Security, OOP, Computational Statistics, Information structure and file Organization, Numerical Solution to Diff. Equation, Measure Th. and Integration, Stochastic Process and Simulation, PDE, Systems Programming, Operations Research, Linear Programming, Mathematical Logic and Logic Programming, Modern Algebra, Probability and Mathematical Statistics, Principle of Microprocessors and Comp. Org., Linear Algebra, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Numerical Algorithms, Switching and Finite Automata, Programming and Data Structures and Engineering Drawing. All the courses were supported with adequate lab work and that made them more interesting to me.
BSc. Project(AI)
MSc Project(Decision Tree)
Other Project(Digital Image Matching Using Fuzzy Moments
Since its inception in 1951, the department has been taking a leading role in developing curricula and syllabi for engineering mathematics and statistics,
initiating research in new areas of Non-Linear Mechanics, Hypo-Elasticity, Thermo-Elasticity, Numerical Analysis and Game theory, Stochastic Processes, Relativistic Cosmology, Magneto-Fluid Dynamics. In the nineties, the department diversified in the field of Fuzzy Mathematics, Multi-criteria Decision Making, Image Processing and Forecasting, Artificial Intelligence, Genetic Algorithm, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Relativistic Astro-Physics and many others . . .
