this is for install in 2005 Focus - car was a ST zx4 with audiophile package.

tell you to play with a bunch of shit that isnt in the 2005, so i jsut started messing around and got it to work real easy steps.
the green arrow is the yellow/brown on the factory harness -
ground that wire to frame
the red arrow is a black/white on the factory harness - attach to the white
on the SWIX unit
plug in 12v and then clean up your work and install the IR LED all done.
note that the tap into the two factory wires can happen anywhere the wire
bundle is from teh stearing column to the radio. I found it less obtrusive
to tap the wire harness for the radio.
