Chiba Mamoru is a college student, who was orphaned as a child. He is 20 years old, he's handsome, he's passionate and caring, he's a jerk at first, and his life would seem to be alright now, except that he is the boyfriend of Tsukino Usagi; and as the smooth and poetic masked hero Tuxedo Kamen, he is the protector of her alter ego SailorMoon.
Mamoru becomes Usagi's husband when she becomes Neo Queen Serenity, and he then becomes King Endymion. They have a daughter in the future, Small Lady, also known as ChibiUsa. Mamoru's mission is to help his girlfriend as she fights evil from taking over the Earth he loves. He is a loyal rescuer, and his loyalty towards Usagi is strong, even when they are not on good terms. His desire to protect her was so great, a part of him became Tsukikage no Knight, and helped SailorMoon during her brushes with the R series aliens.
At the beginning of the series, he is a jerk, and uncaring about anything in particular. But then SailorMoon comes into his life, and changes everything. Mamo-chan seems to be a kind and gentle man most of the time, but he is also strong and very passionate. Tuxedo Kamen will sacrifice himself to protect his friends, especially SailorMoon and SailorChibiMoon. He's very loyal and patient towards Usagi-chan; still, he's sometimes self-centered and may often be arrogant, not to mention words fail him every once in a while, but he means well most of the time. In the SuperS season, he also has to play daddy to future daughter ChibiUsa, and he shines like no character in the season. SailorStars is not his year, however: First he gets cursed and kidnapped by Nehelenia, and later is killed by Galaxia for his StarSeed. But at the end he comes back to life, and ChibiChibi guides him back to the arms of his beloved Usako.
He has no special attacks in the anime series, but seems to be an strong and agile fighter. His cane, however, can be used as a weapon, and it may also serve as a shield. As a defense, he throws red roses, which stun and annoy enemies.
