In-Class Assignment Number One
You and your partner are to complete the following map
activity.
What you have to do:

Get a piece of white butcher paper from the teacher.

Get three magic markers from the teacher.

Draw a map of Cape or Bollinger County on the paper.

Label the major cities of the county on the map.
-
Label the county seat on your map.
-
Draw any important streams or rivers on your county.
-
Create a map key for the map.
-
Create a map scale for the map.
Grading Criteria:
This assignment will be worth 25 points. Here is how
the points will be awarded.

5pts for neatness--this does not have to be artistic but you can be neat!

5pts for the map key
-
5pts for the map scale
-
5pts for the cities, streams, rivers, and county seat being included on
the map
-
5pts for overall effort and final product
Remember you only have forty-five minutes to complete
assignment one. This has to been finished by the time the bell rings.
You will not have enough time to see and chat, then begin. As soon
as you get you paper, get started! You be graded based on how hard
you work and if all the components mentioned above are included on your
map. Good luck!
