Photograph and Decription Project
This project is designed for you to recognize the significance
of historical photographs.
What you have to do:

Find an old photograph. You can go to the library and use the microfilm
or borrow one from your family.

Bring the photo to your teacher, so they can make photocopies for the class.

Type a one page summary of who you know or think is in the photo.

Explain what they are doing, what time period the photo was taken in.

Describe how you could tell when it was taken without needing to ask someone
else.
-
Prepare to discuss the photo in front of the class for about 2-3 minutes.
Be ready to field questions that your classmates might have about the photo.
Grading Criteria:
This project will be worth 15 points. Here is how the points will
be awarded.

5 pts for the in class discussion of the photo.
-
5 pts for the page sumamry of the photo.
-
5pts to explain how you can tell when the photo was taken.
This project will be due one week before the Missouri
History Unit Test.
