Venessa Pruse Bio/Profile
Name: Venessa Pruse
Age: Thirteen
The Past: Venessa is an alternate form of Severus Snape
created by Snape brewing and drinking a Jeckyl-Hyde potion to
turn himself into a twelve-year-old girl who then accompanies
and protects Terra Malfoy, his biological daughter, after she
ran away from him in Wales. Venessa has all of the knowledge of Severus Snape, and all of his memories. She is as skillful and powerful as a young witch as he is as a mature wizard.
Terra wanted to find and be with her mother, Narcissa, and
Lucius, her 'daddy' for all of her life. Terra would also
like to see her brother Draco.
Venessa is pretending to have run away from home at the
beginning of the summer and to have been traveling the British
Isles ever since, and plans to continue hiking until possibly
the following summer or fall before returning home once again.
She was fed-up with home-schooling and just wanted to get out
and get away.
Her name, Venessa Pruse, comes from rearranging the letters of
Severus Snape to spell Venessa Pruse, not unlike Lord Voldemort
coming from the letters of Tom Marvolo Riddle.
Family: Venessa has no family, but pretends to have a
mother, an Irish witch married to her father, a warlock, a
German, who was schooled at Durmstrang. Her mother home-schooled
her in witchcraft and other schooling pre-teens ordinarily get.
Appearance: Venessa is tall for her age, thin, wiry and
athletic. She dresses in black tights, grey chinos shorts,
brown suede lederhosen, a rock-star tee shirt, denim fleece-lined
jacket, hiking boots and a Tyrolean or stocking hat. She puts her
dark hair in braids or a pony tail with a few Scrunchies,
pony-tailers and/or barettes. She wears a little lip-gloss and
eye shadow as appropriate for the occasion, and has ear-studs
with aquamarine stones in them.
The Future: Venessa may not have a future beyond when
Terra re-discovers her parents, Narcissa and Lucius, if they
even survive the battle going on in November 2003. Severus
will have to reappear, of course, in her place. However, if
I like her well enough I may find some way to have her live
outside of Severus and attend the academy as a student, in
either Slytherin or Ravenclaw.
