We have now added Senegals to our breeding flock.  We started with PJ as a semi-tame pet & decided to get him a girlfriend.  A friend of mine sent me home with both of hers (we later learned that Cookie was a male) to try with PJ and he took to Dixie.  Dixie & PJ didn't bond well & we sold PJ to our friends at Love 'n Let Aviary.  (PJ has now assumed the name Agent Bunsen.  He has now become a daddy!)  We can't handle Cookie, but he talks to us.  Cookie says "Hello", "Pretty Baby", "Pretty Birdie", and other words.  Dixie is my pet & she is very bonded to me.  She will give me kisses, cuddle with me, lay on her back in may hand, swing from my finger & do almost anything I want to do with her.  She is quite an escape artist & is always getting out of her cage.  We will be trying to breed them, but if they don't breed they will stay & be our pets.
