Crockpot Hawaiian

(Makes 6-8 servings) This is a subtle and fruity dish that's so easy to prepare. The sauce tastes great over white rice! The recipe is from sherr1 on the IBS message boards. Ingredients: 3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 (16 ounce) can pineapple slices, drained 1 (15 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained 1/4 cup cornstarch 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 Tablespoons lemon juice 1/4 teaspoons salt 1/4 teaspoons ground ginger 1. Combine all ingredients in the crockpot. 2. Stir well. 3. Cover and cook for 4-5 hours on low or 2-3 hours on high. 4. Serve with steamed rice. 5. Enjoy! |
