This document discribes a simple method to generate a mic calibration data file for mic capsules typically used with CAD programs by DIY speaker builders. The procedure was developed using the IMP/M but should be equally applicable to LAUD. Users of other CAD measurement programs can probably adapt the procedure to their set ups. The only hitch is that it requires a calibrated reference mic. The reference mic can be another Panasonic type mic, such as the calibrated capsules available from Kim Girardin, or the Girardin mic available from Liberty Instruments.
