My story?
So nice of you to ask!

Well.... Like most people with gender issues I had a sense that something was wrong from a very early age. The first time my Mother took me to a therapist about my gender issues was when I was 3 years old. I struggled through adolescence escaping my pain and confusion through the theater. I guess it was easier to be someone else than it was to be me. My first role was at the age of 8 and my first lead was at 10. Mostly Junior Theater stuff, however I was in a production of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" at the OLD GLOBE THEATRE in San Diego at age 11. By the end of high school I had been in over 20 shows. I also spent several summers working in the house management for Starlight Opera.

Then I stopped. Why? I wasn't living at home anymore. I was free! I started hanging around "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"; in the EARLY days. It was quite a party for me and it lasted almost 8 years. I was free to explore my issues in the open but all I really did was waste a good chunk of my life. The following is a picture of me at "Rocky" sometime around 1983.

Then one day I woke up and said "ENOUGH!" I had been drifting in and out of various educations and jobs and lacked focus. I decided to apply myself to me. I settled into a steady job and formed a support group for transsexuals in transition called PHOENIX RISING which I facilitated for 2 years. I did my 150+ hours of electrolysis to remove my beard and started hormone therapy. I found a good therapist and started exploring myself.

I met and fell in love with a post-op TS. We've been together since 1991 and she is very loving and supportive. We decided to wed and since she had managed to get her birth certificate reissued and I was still legally male we were able to obtain a license. February 29th 1992 was the day. We lept on Leap Day! That means that in 2004 we're celebrating our 3rd Anniversary. Then I legally changed my gender to female so now we are legally married lesbians. You don't see that every day! I love her very much. Her name is Mary and these are pictures of her.

As life went on we started looking at our long term goal and plans for security. We bought a rundown income property and started reclaiming it from the rubble. Six years later we had finally finished and now we're enjoying the fruits of our labor.

I've had my breast implants since 1997. I love them! Most recently I finished removing my body hair by laser. It's wonderful! Life goes on and at least I can say that it mostly keeps getting better.

Thanks for reading my story. I appreciate you taking the time to get to know a little bit about me.

Take care!
