Leelee Sobieski is absolutely wonderful in the title role of this two-part made-for-television mini-series. The life of Joan of Arc is wonderfully portrayed and the grandiose scale of the locations never get in the way of the humanity and the emotion. This is a film that one can watch over and over and never tire of it. Charlotte Church provides a moving and powerful vocal score.
