Mickey
and the
Beanstalk

1947 **** 29 mins.

Here's a quaint little Disney film which is, obviously, a retelling of "Jack and the Beanstalk". In this film, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are three peasants in a town formerly known as Happy Valley. After a giant stole the magic harp, Happy Valley became . . . well . . . not so happy. So, Mickey sells their cow for magic beans that grow into a beanstalk. So, they climb the beanstalk and battle the giant. Entertaining little romp which has no other real purpose (which isn't, necessarily, a bad thing).
Not Rated; suitable for all ages.
