So much could be said about this classic MGM musical directed by Victor Fleming. Rather than repeat everything that everyone else says, I will just tell you to go out, buy (don't rent) this wonderful film and enjoy it for ages and ages.

I do have to get my two cents' worth on one other matter. Do go out and buy Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon on CD. After the third growl of the lion in the opening MGM logo, hit play on your CD player and turn the volume off on the movie. You will then be experiencing The Dark Side of Oz--an intriguing experience that may even haunt you a bit. Make sure you have your player set to play the CD over and over.
