Return of the Street fighter is the second installment of the Street
Fighter Trilogy starring Sonny Chiba (Kill Bill vol.1). Going up
against the first Street Fighter, this one falls a step short. You
still get the same bloody hardcore action as the first, but this just
doesn't meet up with the quality. During the film they show about
5-10 different fighters using various different weapons and training.
I don't know why the director chose to add these scenes, but really it
had no point to it and was long and dull. Another problem was
the frequent flashbacks. It just seems like there are too many of them.
And they bring back the same flashback of Terry as a child from the
first film, a scene that by the end of this movie has officially been
played to death. If you've seen the first Street Fighter and enjoyed
it, then this movie is right up your alley with the same type of action
as the first, just not as good. If you haven't seen the original Street
Fighter you might want to purchase it first before you buy this one.

This action packed violent martial arts thriller stars Sonny Chiba
as Terry Tsuguri aka The Street Fighter. Terry is hired by the mod
to silence a jailed informer. After he finishes off his victim, he
then finds out that the mob has a contract out on him. Big mistake.
It's Terry's turn to teach the mob not to fool around with the Street
Fighter.
