JAG: Black Ops Airdate: April 10, 1996. Naval aviator Lt. Douglas Marion is killed on a training mission with SEAL Team 2. His mother, Senator Marion, accuses the Navy of gross negligence. Harm and Meg are dispatched to Roosevelt Roads Naval Base in Puerto Rico to investigate and defuse the explosive situation. The autopsy report points to murder and a subsequent cover-up by the SEAL team, on orders from a rogue Marine general who is selling military equipment to a Colombian drug cartel. The desperate general races to destroy the incriminating evidence. Chegwidden sends Harm and the SEAL team to stop him. He orders Harm to HALO-jump with the SEALs, and retrieve the drug lords' cargo plane. HALO
stands for "high altitude, low open". The jump is made from
an aircraft at 30,000 feet; the parachute is opened just before terminal
velocity is reached.
