JAG: The Prisoner

Airdate: May 8, 1996.

While on a weekend leave in Hong Kong, JAG's maritime law expert, Harm, is kidnapped and taken to a prison in China for interrogation. The Chinese want to know what recommendation he would be making to the American government as a course of action in the event the Chinese decide to take back two of their former provinces. Under the influence of drugs, Harm is led to believe that there is a prisoner in the cell below his, and that it is his father. He is given a choice: information in exchange for his father. As Harm fights desperately to ascertain what is real and what is not, his captors use the information he inadvertently gives them about his childhood to add substance to the illusion, even to the extent of carving the initials "HR2" - as Harm Sr. had done on their last outing together - on the wall of the cell. Meanwhile, Meg and Krennick use all their resources, including blackmail, to find and rescue Harm.

This episode gives us Harm's birthdate, October 25, 1963, and Social Security Number, 989-54-8301.
