  §   This book is an autobiography about the lead singer of one of punk-rocks most
influential bands, the Sex Pistols.  It includes vile accounts of the formative
years of Johnny Rotten. Read everything from his lower class beginnings to the
fall of the Sex Pistols.

Bockris, Victor. Transformer: The Lou Reed Story. New York, NY: Simon & Shuster, 1994.
  §   Author traces the career of the founder of possible the most influential bands
of the sixties, the Velvet Underground.  This book examines Lou Reed's major
innovations and trends set.

Gray, Marcus. The Last Gang In Town. New York, NY: Henry Holt & Company, 1995.
  §   Widely regarded as the "only band that matters", the Clash rose to fame in the
mid seventies.  This book follows the up's and down's of the Clash's career.
The writer attempts to delve past the myths to explore their early lives and
formative experiences of the band members.

Carducci, Joe. Rock and the Pop Narcotic. 1990.
  §   This book gives a history of punk. It begins in the beginning and includes
every important punk band up into the early 90's. Flyer, band pictures, and
cover albums are included.
