Acquiring Players
There will be a draft to acquire 28 players per team, 25 on the roster and 3 on injured reserve. Order of the draft will reverse every other round.
Seasonal acquisition requests are due by Friday. If 2 or more owners request the same player, the lowest placed owner gets the player. Ties for acquisitions will be decided by offensive score/runs surrendered differential.
At any time, a maximum of 28 players per owner may be retained, up to 25 on the roster and up to 3 on injured reserve.
Waivers
Starting in August, a player to be dropped that is not on the 15 day or longer disabled list, suspended or retired or a player to be traded must clear waivers.
Waiver requests are due by Monday and will be posted Monday night.
Claims for players on waivers are due by Friday at noon and must include a player to put on waivers (and then dropped) if the claimed player is acquired.
Claims will be posted Friday night.
1) If no one claims the player, the player may be dropped or traded by the original owner.
2) If 1 owner claims the player and the original owner has less than 28 players, the original owner can decide by Sunday night to keep the player. If not, the claiming owner gets the player.
3) If 2 or more owners claim the player, he returns to the original owner. If the original owner then has too many players, a different player not just coming off of waivers must be put on waivers.

Point Players
Point players cannot be on injured reserve or on waivers.
Lineup changes are due before games start on Monday.

List 1 starting player at each position (9 players). See To qualify for a position below.
List up to 2 backup players at each position in case of injury.
***9 players, 1 at each position, will total their runs and rbis for an offensive score.

List 4 pitchers as starting pitchers. See To qualify for a position below.
Rank the rest of your pitchers, including the rest of your starting pitchers, as relievers from best to worst.
***An ERA is calculated and multiplied by 12 games for runs surrendered by the pitchers used (the best pitchers in a weekly, 36 inning game per rules below)
12 games is used because, on the average, 6 games per week are played. Position players add both runs and rbis for twice the production. 2 times the production times 6 games equals 12.

To qualify for a position other than DH, a starting player, backup player or starting pitcher must have played the position at least 10 times the year before or at least 1 time this year. Any player can be listed as DH.

Backups
Backups are inserted in order automatically if the starter has less than 10 at bats or if the starter does not qualify. Backup position players may only backup up to 2 positions, as a 1st backup at 1 position and as a 2nd backup at another position. To be the primary backup at 2 positions, list no 1st backup where the player is a 2nd backup.
The same backup will not score for more than 1 position.
The DH will score as long as he hasn't scored for another position.

Pitchers used
First, all 4 starters statistics are added.
If the 4 starters do not pitch at least 36 innings, the relievers statistics are added to the total in ranked order until 36+ innings are reached.
If all the relievers statistics are added and it still does not total 36+ innings, 1 earned run per inning is added until 36+ innings are reached.

Games
***Each week, every owners offensive score plus his opponents runs surrendered is matched against his opponents total to get a winner.
Results are tallied weekly starting with Mondays games and ending with Sundays games and posted Monday night. All-Star week is not counted.

At the end of the regular season, 1st will get 30% and 2nd will get 20% of the money in the pot at the time.
The top 4 teams make the playoffs. Ties in record are first resolved by record in head to head (to head etc.) games, then by offensive score/runs surrendered differential. 4th plays 1st, 3rd plays 2nd, and the winners meet in the World Series. The World Series winner will get 60% of the remaining money and the loser will get 40%.
