She has some skill with runner beasts too. Hair- Eyes- Deep forest green, slightly slanted at the sides like everyone else in the family Height-5 ft. 7 Build- Willowy; tall and skinny, but she has some serious arm muscles. Complexion- tannish with freckles. Other- She has a piece of copper hung on a black leather strap that she wears around her neck constantly. It's the last thing her father made for her before he died. Strengths- Standing up for herself and others. Weaknesses- Having no regard for authority: though this might be counted as a strength, it gets her in trouble often. Personality- The almost opposite of Saleena, she's outgoing and ready to make friends with anyone. She has no regard for authority, and if someone tells her to do something that she doesn't like, whether it's a goldrider or the Weyrleader himself, she won't do it. Her only loyalty lies in her age-old friends, and then they're mostly the quieter people. She's quick to speak and will stand up for anyone, but she respects those who love her (in a sisterly way), and show it. You could say that she would be a good army commander, and is only lacking in leadership skills. She's more of the protector and bold one of the 'pack', not the leader. She knows that she will do something brash if she doesn't consult Saleena first, who keeps her head and thinks things through. History- She was brought up living next to her cousin, Saleena, and they grew close and convinced that they were twins. Kelvi's mother lived with Garat for a couple of years, but decided that she liked the high and free harper life, instead of being the wife of a humble miner, who made hardly enough money to support them all. Garat brought Kelvi up lovingly, teaching her everything about masonry and minerals, while Saleena taught her some of her herding skills. When Kelvi was old enough, she started working in the mines with her father. One day, the mine started to collapse, and she barely made it out, her father close on her heels, but he didn't make it in time. She went to live with Saleena, but doesn't really count her aunt to be her foster parent, because she says no one can replace her dad. Saleena and Kelvi both impressed at High Reaches in the same Hatching. As soon as they were old enough, feeling unappreciated, they left for Laprun. ***Pets*** Name-Silverstone Species-flit Gender-male Description- A beautiful bronze color with a speckling of gold Personality-He is constantly showing off for the golds or greens, and shoves the blues off to the side. He thinks of other bronzes as competition, and will only associate with male flits when they idolize him. ***Dragonriders Only*** Dragon's name-Sulath Dragon's age-4 Color- A pretty forest green, matching Kelvi's eyes. Age impressed- 19 Personality- Sulath is very gullible and proud, and she'll overeat if you let her. Despite the fact that she does many stupid things, and asks awkward questions constantly, she will break through with a brilliant idea or suggestion occasionally. She is a tiny thing, but has a very large wingspan, and can turn more swiftly than any other green and some blues. Sulath thinks of herself as a leader type, but Kelvi tells her that almost everything she says comes across wrong, which is true (she is really a very smart dragon; it's just that she has no idea of what is and isn't appropriate, and the intelligent things she tries to say come across wrong, and sometimes offensively). |
