Strengths- confident, has a confidant in her sister, gentle and patient people Weaknesses- not terribly good with men, reacts badly to tension in others Personality- Lilandra is the quieter of the two with more patience and understanding for people. She, like her sister, enjoys a good joke and will occasionally go along with making the most of their identicalness. She takes joy in many things. She is far less sociable than her sister and prefers to read than to socialize. This has led to her having problems forming any sort of a relationship with the opposite sex. History- Lilandra grew up in Southern Weyr with her twin sister and her elder brother. Their father was a brownrider and so they were exposed to dragons and draconic behaviour from an early age. When she was of an age she and her sister were fostered out to a woman called Siba who loved them dearly even though she often told them that they were the reason for so many of her grey hairs. From an early age her sister realized that their identical features could be used to their advantage and Lilandra, being less dominant than Rhya, often went along with her sisters schemes and practical jokes � though she always made sure that they never got out of hand. Because of their shared fosterage and their shared features Lilandra and Rhya were as close as sisters could get, sharing everything as children and most things as young teens. When they reached an age when they could stand on the Hatching sands they went together and after they stood for the third, and probably final, time they joined their father and their brother in the ranks of dragonriders at Southern Weyr. Unfortunately Rhya made the Weyrlingmaster�s life a living hell and sometime, when she was moody, her sister would take out her frustrations on her and she would have to dig herself out of trouble that she had not caused in the first place. Lilandra was not the only one to sigh in relief when her sister�s energy was diverted into a new pastime. She was also the only one not to worry over Rhya�s flirting and all night socializing sessions. Lilandra figured that they were both adult enough to realize the consequences of their actions and she would come to no harm with her dragon around. So Lilandra went her own way and became less sociable than her sister, though if requested she would join her sister at whatever event and mingle. She did this mainly at the insistence of Siba and her over-protective older brother who were both wanting to protect them from the world at large and even Lilandra felt smothered by the sudden over-protectiveness they displayed when Rhya began flirting with men and she and her dragon would often fly far and wide to escape the smothering or the inevitable arguments that erupted when they tried to curb Rhya�s activities The time came, however, when they needed to completely leave the nest and fully fledge. Both sisters knew that they would not feel fully adult and independent until they left Southern Weyr. So they asked the Weyrleaders for a transfer to another Weyr and when they were told that Laprun Weyr had an opening for them they jumped at the chance and packed their bags. ***Dragonriders Only*** Dragon's name- Kirianth Dragon's age- 3 turns Color- green Age impressed- 15 turns Personality- Kirianth is in some ways similar to her rider and in others she is vastly different. She enjoys the stories that her rider tells her and listening to her rider read. On the other hand she thinks that her rider could use a bit more experience with men, as she herself enjoys the company of male dragons, and takes every opportunity to push her rider into socializing. She is a bit more out going than her rider but is always supportive of her since she is convinced that her rider is the most sensible human she has ever encountered. |
