Margo doesnt really think about peoples feelings when she acts and she appears kind of sinister to those around her. She uses her skills in dancing to get what she wants. Though Margo seems somewhat heartless it is a shell she uses to keep other people out therefore preventing attachments. Quick to anger and to act Margo is almost always in some form of trouble.
History- Balla, Margos mother, was an ambitious woman who hadnt meant to get herself pregnant. Margos father was a frequent visitor in the beds of the women of the weyr and so she was not the only child of his seed running around the place. Though Balla refused to have her daughter fostered, she was always sort of distant from her.
Living with her mother, Margo learned to be independent and not to care what other people thought about her considering her mother was a brownrider which are never respected. Margo, like almost all weyrbrats, loved getting into trouble and she often did. One day when she was 11 she ran into mischief with a dancer at the weyr. The dancer, Dreama, instead of scolding her made her an apprenticed.
Dreama taught Margo the skills of a dancer on the stage and off it. She taught the young girl never to become attached to things or else they will come back to bite you.
Margo knew who her father was from a distance but the bronzerider rarely had anything to do with his offspring and so he was never apart of her family.
At 16 Margo was one of the best dancers in the weyr and knew it. One performance a blueriders dragon took an interest in her and she was Searched. The bluerider, though, decided against allowing her to stand on the sands in Southern, a place where women of any color dragon were abused regularly. Instead he brought her to Laprun Weyr where she is to stand on the sands there.
