Strengths- confident, has a confidant in her sister, sociable � usually gets on well with people Weaknesses- volatile temper, doesn�t always think before acting Personality- Rhya is the twin with the volatile personality. She is quick to anger and often quick to forget slights. Rhya is very much into practical jokes and one of her favourites has been to pretend that she is her sister and has, on rare occasions, been know to use this to the detriment of Lilandra. Rhya loves company, especially that of men, but usually knows the limits and is rarely overbearing or obnoxious. However, sometimes Rhya can be a little too impulsive and this can lead to trouble. History- Rhya grew up in Southern Weyr with her twin sister and her elder brother. Their father was a brownrider and so they were exposed to dragons and draconic behaviour from an early age. When she was of an age she and her sister were fostered out to a woman called Siba who loved them dearly and even though Rhya often found her a little restricting she returned that love. From an early age Rhya realized that their identical features could be used as an advantage and convinced Lilandra to go along with her schemes and practical jokes � though they never got out of hand. . Because of their shared fosterage and their shared features Lilandra and Rhya were as close as sisters could get, sharing everything as children and most things as young teens. When they reached an age when they could stand on the Hatching sands they went together and after they stood for the third, and probably final, time they joined their father and their brother in the ranks of dragonriders at Southern Weyr. Rhya found the Weyrlingmaster to be restrictive and felt he had no appreciable sense of humour and it was her greatest game to invent new methods of making his life a living hell when he thwarted her. She also discovered that it was hilarious to occasionally pretend to be her sister and watch Lilandra have to dig herself out of trouble that she had not caused in the first place, though she was careful not to do this too often so as not to damage her relationship with her twin. However even she had to admit that she would have to settle down a little and decided to turn her full attention to boys and socializing. This she found much more fun and would often stay out all night celebrating this or that or just talking and flirting with a group of friends. But no matter how many men there were in her life none of them could gain even a hundredth of the devotion that she has for her dragon. Her life was made complete in a way not even her twin could understand by the Hatching of � It was this bond that helped her cope with the sudden over-protectiveness of her elder brother and it was her dragon whom she turned to for solace when the arguments with her brother had even driven her gentle sister to seek solitude and avoid her. The time came, however, when they needed to completely leave the nest and fully fledge. Both sisters knew that they would not feel fully adult and independent until they left Southern Weyr. So they asked the Weyrleaders for a transfer to another Weyr and when they were told that Laprun Weyr had an opening for them they jumped at the chance and packed their bags. ***Dragonriders Only*** Dragon's name- Merutoth Dragon's age- 3 turns Color- green Age impressed- 15 turns Personality- in many ways Merutoth is like her rider in that she is most happy when she is the center of attention of a group of males. Randy, like many greens, she revels in her sensuality. She is often as unrestrained and impulsive as her rider and has a remarkable lack of tack � always saying what she is thinking with little or no editing. |
