Pansy and Butterfly

The bottom of this Melt & Pour soap is the Victorian Heart. The pansy and butterfly were done freehand. First, I poured thin layers of darker and lighter purple and then cut out each petal and formed it. The yellow center was painted on. The leaves were done with a thin pour of clear M&P with a mix of Rainforest Mica and then I used a small knife to cut out the form of the leaf. The butterfly was made with clear M&P and black mica. I did a thin pour on a flat sheet and then when it was set, I bent the M&P sheet in half and cut out the wings and body part. Next I painted the butterfly orange and yellow. Once the paint was set, I took a toothpick and scraped away at different areas to expose the black and then mixed some Titanium Dioxide and dotted it white in different areas.
