Take A627 towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Keep straight on for 4 miles until roundabout. Take 3rd exit A635 (sign posted Manchester). In 0.25 mile at junction with A6017 follow signs for Stockport. At mini roundabout turn left and pass Guide Bridge station. In 1.2 miles turn right onto M67. At end of motorway (0.8 miles) take first exit off roundabout to join M66. At junction 12 forward onto M63. At junction 10 (A34) take M56. In 7.7 miles take exit at junction 7. At roundabout take 1st exit (A556) for Birmingham. At junction with M6 (4.5 miles) take first exit to join M6(s). In 60 miles (Junction 8) take M5 (sign posted South West). In 84 miles (J15 with M4) branch left and follow London signs to join M4. In 3.2 miles at junction with M32 (Junction 19) branch left for Bristol. At the end of the M32 (5 miles) turn left onto Ring Rd. Keep in right-hand lanes into underpass (sign posted All other Routes) and get into lane for flyover (sign posted City Centre). Follow signs for Taunton (A38) at next 2 roundabouts into A370 Coronation Rd (Avon Packet Pub on Left Hand Side). Left where road divides and follow Taunton signs onto and then off the Dual carriageway (by Mercedes Garage) into Winterstoke Rd.

Come out of the station onto West Street and turn right onto Winterstoke Road. Ashton Gate is ahead on right.

From Temple Meads Station. Exit station and turn left over river then left into York road. Follow York Road over crossroads at East Street into Coronation Road. Follow around to left into Ashton Road. Ashton Gate ahead on left.
