Ashton-under-Lyne. At roundabout take 2nd exit for Hyde. In 0.6 miles turn right at mini roundabout, then at next turn left. In 1.2 miles turn right at mini roundabout (sign posted Stockport A560) then turn left at traffic lights. In 2 miles turn left to join M67 for Sheffield. At end of motorway take 1st exit (A57). Through Mottram and in 0.5 miles turn right at lights for Glossop. In 0.5 miles over river and turn right at mini roundabout. In 1.4 miles at junction with A626 at traffic lights forward and after 0.4 miles forward at mini roundabout and at the next mini roundabout branch left into Glossop. Follow signs for Sheffield and passing along A57 (Snake Pass) for another 22.9 miles (4 miles after passing the Norfolk Arms) turn left at traffic lights and in 0.9 miles at junction with A61 take 4th exit off roundabout to join A61 (sign posted Chesterfield). In 0.6 miles at junction with A625 at roundabout take 2nd exit. In 0.3 miles at junction with A621 at roundabout take 3rd exit to join A621 into Bramhall Lane. Sheffield United is 0.2 miles ahead on left.

Turn left coming out of station, left  in 30 yards at island, right in 50 yards at lights
onto Shoreham Street. Straight on, through two sets of lights - ground on right.
