Take A627(M) to junction with M62. At roundabout take 1st exit (sign posted Liverpool). At Junction 14 with M61 take left hand lanes (sign posted Preston). After 20 miles join M6 north. At junction 32 with M55 (6.4 miles) take left hand lanes (sign posted Blackpool). and keep going to the end. Go straight on at the roundabout with the weird statue, along the flyover, and straight on at the next three mini roundabouts past "Blackpool South" Railway Station. Park on the left or right in either of the "Bloomfield" car parks.

Outside the station turn left, walk across a few car parks, and look for the floodlights !
If your train comes into "Blackpool North" (most likely), then be prepared for a bit of a walk. The easiest way to the ground, taking in some of Blackpool's famous sights, is as follows. Turn right at the exit to the station heading through the pedestrian subway up onto Talbot Road. Walk all the way down Talbot Road, past Yate's (if you can!) and onto the Promenade by the North Pier. Turn left, and walk down the Prom., past the Tower, to Central Pier (alternatively catch a tram !). Once past Central Pier look for Lytham Road on the left. Walk down here to reach Bloomfield Road at the cross roads with Woodfield St. If you get to the Pleasure Beach you've gone too far.
