Take A627 towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Keep straight on for 4 miles until roundabout. Take 3rd exit A635 (sign posted Manchester). In 0.25 mile at junction with A6017 follow signs for Stockport. At mini roundabout turn left and pass Guide Bridge station. In 1.2 miles turn right onto M67. At end of motorway (0.8 miles) take first exit off roundabout to join M66. At junction 12 forward onto M63. At junction 10 (A34) take M56. In 7.7 miles take exit at junction 7. At roundabout take 1st exit (A556) for Birmingham. At junction with M6 (4.5 miles) take first exit to join M6(s). In 60 miles (Junction 8) take M5 (sign posted South West). In 54 miles (Junction 11a) leave motorway (sign posted Cirencester) and join A417. In 3.5 miles (at Air Balloon Inn) at roundabout take second exit. In 11.5 miles (junction with A429) at roundabout take second exit A419 for Swindon. 5.5 miles after passing through Latton, at junction with A4311 take second exit from roundabout (sign posted Marlborough, Motorway). In 5.5 miles (junction with A4259/B4192) take 3rd exit. In 1 mile (A346/M4) take second exit A346 (former A345). Pass through Marlborough following signs for Salisbury A346. At Collingbourne Ducis turn right at the mini roundabout. In 6.7 miles at junction with A303 straight on then at roundabout take 2nd exit (sign posted Salisbury). In 1.1 miles turn right at mini roundabout. In 8 miles at junction with A30 take 3rd exit off roundabout. Then the first exit at the next roundabout. In 1.5 miles at junction with A36 take second exit (sign posted Southampton, Ringwood). In 0.9 miles take A338 for Ringwood (2nd exit). In 0.25 miles take 1st exit off roundabout. In 0.3 miles at junction with (A354/A3094) take left hand lane and keep left (for Ringwood). In 15.5 miles (Ringwood) at junction with (A31/B3347) take 3rd exit off roundabout to join A31. At junction with A338 branch left and at roundabout take 1st exit (A338). In 7 miles (junction with A3060) forward and after you go over the Cooper Dean flyover get in the left hand lane. You go up a slight incline and then take the first left turn. There is a sign which says "football traffic" but sometimes this isn't displayed - especially if you are very early. You are virtually there now and should be able to see the floodlights. At the small roundabout take the 2nd exit into Kings Park. The club car park is the first entrance on the left after about 100 metres.

Come out of the station, turn right and take the first right into Gloucester Road. This leads into Kings Park (past a special clinic). You should be able to see the floodlights to your left when you get to the end of Gloucester Road. If you can't, just turn left along the Drive, through the park and you soon will.
If the train doesn't stop at Pokesdown you will have to get off at Bournemouth Central. Come out of the station and walk up the slope. You should see an Asda on the opposite side of the road nearby. Turn left and walk up Holdenhurst Road. This is a "good" walk, so you may wish to catch a bus from the stop on the bridge over the railway line. Number 25 and 68 go almost to the ground. Get off at the Queen's Park Hotel pub as the bus turns right into Ashley Road. Number 33 goes a little bit nearer, get off in Littledown Avenue.
