By CarTake A627 towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Keep straight on for 4 miles until roundabout. Take 3rd exit A635 (sign posted Manchester). In 0.25 mile at junction with A6017 follow signs for Stockport. At mini roundabout turn left and pass Guide Bridge station. In 1.2 miles turn right onto M67. At end of motorway (0.8 miles) take first exit off roundabout to join M66. At junction 12 forward onto M63. At junction 10 (A34) take M56. In 7.7 miles take exit at junction 7. At roundabout take 1st exit (A556) for Birmingham. At junction with M6 (4.5 miles) take first exit to join M6(s). In 100.3 miles take M1(s). Follow M1(s) until terminal roundabout and take 1st exit (A406) the North Circular Road. In 0.6 miles branch left at junction of A41/A406 and at roundabout take 3rd exit (A41). In 1.6 miles at junction with Finchley Road (A598) turn right at lights. Follow signs for West End for 2.6 miles into St. John's Wood. At traffic lights keep left then at roundabout take 2nd exit into Park Lane. 0.2 miles after the Regents Park junction take right hand lane and at traffic signals bear right into Baker Street, Straight through the lights at Baker Street Underground station and in 0.5 miles turn right into Oxford Street (A40). Passing Marble Arch follow the signs for Ring Road, Brighton into Park Lane (A4202). Passing Hyde Park Corner follow the Green Park signs into Constitution Hill (closed Sundays) to Buckingham Palace. Pass the Queen Victoria Memorial (right) and The Mall (left) turn left and at T-junction left again into Birdcage Walk. In 0.4 miles straight through lights into Great George Street for Parliament Square. Keep forward on A302 and take centre lane then straight on to Big Ben. Straight on at Victoria Embankment to cross the Thames on Westminster Bridge. At the first roundabout take 3rd exit (A23) taking the left hand lane (sign posted Elephant & Castle) and in 0.3 miles at Lambeth North station go forward through the lights (A3202) and keep to the centre lane (sign posted The City). The shortly take right hand lane and bear right into the A201 London Road (sign posted Elephant & Castle). At roundabout take 2nd exit (sign posted Tower Bridge). In 0.7 miles at junction with A2/A100 take right hand lane and cross the flyover to join A2 (sign posted Dover). In 1.1 miles turn left at the traffic lights into A2208 (sign posted Rotherhithe Tunnel). In 0.5 miles turn right into Ilderton Road. Millwall F.C. is on left.
