Take A627 towards Ashton-under-Lyne. Keep straight on for 4 miles until roundabout. Take 3rd exit A635 (sign posted Manchester). In 0.25 mile at junction with A6017 follow signs for Stockport. At mini roundabout turn left and pass Guide Bridge station. In 1.2 miles turn right onto M67. At end of motorway (0.8 miles) take first exit off roundabout to join M66. At junction 12 forward onto M63. At junction 10 (A34) take M56. In 7.7 miles take exit at junction 7. At roundabout take 1st exit (A556) for Birmingham. At junction with M6 (4.5 miles) take first exit to join M6(s). In 100.3 miles take M1(s). In 18 miles leave the M1 at Junction 15a, and turn left onto A43 towards Northampton. At the first roundabout, take the second exit, Sixfields Stadium is sign posted. At the next roundabout turn right, Sixfields Stadium is in front of you.Distance 145 miles

Nearest Station: NORTHAMPTON CASTLE
Leave the station and cross the road where you will find a Bus stop. Most of the buses from here go to Sixfields - but ask! Alternatively there is a Taxi Rank just by the Station exit.

COACH PARKING: Designated parking for away fans at stadium. Car users use the South Car Park (and don't expect to get away too quickly after the game.)
PUBS NEAR GROUND: Two on Sixfields Leisure Complex. From the away fans (South) car park you need to go up the hill round to the other end of the stadium. Both get very crowded on match days and Washington Square is a regular site of fisticuffs. You best bet for a quiet drink is on one fo the 100's of country pubs on your way into turn. If anyone wants to drop me a line telling me their route, I'll try and make a recommendation.
