train to Lime Street Station and then any bus which goes down County Road, however I would advise getting the local train service.

Off at Lime Street and go out through the main entrance (straight ahead under the clock). St Georges Hall is straight ahead. Turn left and then cross the road and head to the right towards Wetherspoons the pub. Turn left at Wetherspoons and towards McDonald’s on the left. At the end of the road (Italian Restaurant on right hand corner), look across the road and to your right - there lies Central Station, the main station in Liverpool for local
Merseyrail services...

In Central Station you want the NORTHERN LINE and a train to either KIRKBY or ORMSKIRK (they run every ten minutes or so). Get off train at third stop (central station - moorfields - sandhills - KIRKDALE) KIRKDALE station and head up the stairs.

Top of stairs, turn right towards crossroad's - cross road towards pub on the left (used to be called the Sportsman). Carry on a little and take the first left into mainish road (Carisbrooke Drive). Follow down for about 500 yards and you will come to County Road. Cross the road, up the street and Goodison is straight ahead...

For Rail times and fares please see the Rail Information page

By taxi from Lime Street will cost about £5 in a black Hackney cab.

Thanks to LOL Scragg of the Everton Mailing List for his help with these directions.
