By CarFrom Mumps roundabout take A669 Lees Road (sign posted Lees). In 3.5 miles at junction with A670 straight on. In 0.5 miles at junction of A669/B6175/A669 cross the railway bridge and turn immediately right, down the hill following sharp left then right to join A669 Chew Valley Road (sign posted Holmfirth A635). In 0.8 miles at the Clarence Hotel take 1st exit at roundabout and join A635 (Holmfirth Road). In 10 miles at Holmfirth turn left and then at lights turn right (sign posted Sheffield) then keep left and go up the hill (passing the "last of the summer wine cafe" on right). In 1.9 miles by the "Duke of Leeds" branch left the keep straight on and up the hill (sign posted Barnsley). In 2.1 miles at T-junction turn right to join A629 (sign posted Sheffield). In 5 miles at junction with A629 take 2nd exit off roundabout. In 4.5 in Wortley bear right then left and in 2.1 miles at junction with A61 turn right to join A61. In 4.2 miles at junction with A6012/B6079 take 2nd exit off roundabout (sign posted City Centre) and Hillsborough is 0.2 miles ahead on right.

BY BUS
From the Railway Station, Flat Street Bus Terminus is a one-minute walk: cross over at the pedestrian crossing, and follow the signs. Head for the far side of the terminus. Bus no. 52 to Ecclesfield runs regularly to the ground from Flat Street.
BY SUPERTRAM
The new South Yorkshire Supertram Middlewood Road service runs from the city centre to within a short walk from the ground (stops at Leppings Lane).
