Three-trip update – September 18, 2004
HAWAIIAN ISLANDS CRUISE – November 2-14, 2004 - 45
days till Election Day and Departure!
We have 32 participants on this trip. Stella Makin of Cinnaminson was the last individual to join us – and she’ll be rooming with Carrie Grundner. Everything is in order and we are “good to go”.
I have confirmed the date, time and location of our optional “pre-trip” orientation meeting. It will be held on Sunday, October 24 at 2:30 p.m. in a meeting room at the Flying W Airport, 60 Fostertown Road, Medford. The room is at the rear of the main building. Simply park in the parking lot, and go around the outside of the restaurant to the Flight Operations building. Someone will be there to direct you to our meeting room that is just to the rear of the little coffee bar in Flight Operations.
At least one member of your party should try to attend this meeting. We will distribute the Collette Vacations information packet, luggage tags, passport holders, Collette travel bags and, most importantly AIRLINE TICKETS. I will provide basic information on the trip and indicate the arrangements for the group pickup at the Vincentown Fire House. It is our intention to be picked up at the Fire House on Race Street, Vincentown, just off Red Lion Road, despite the fact that they will be setting up for elections early that morning. We’ll be leaving before the polls actually open.
If you are unable to make the meeting,
let me know in advance and I will make arrangements to get the materials to
you.
SHADES OF
IRELAND – April 30 * – May 9, 2005 – 223 days till departure!
*Note:
New date for departure is April 30, one day later than the originally announced
date. We depart a day later and return
a day later. The itinerary is exactly
the same as originally announced.
Reason for the change was to allow me to have an exclusive group and add
several people who were on my waiting list and open the trip for more
participants.

RUSSIAN RIVER
CRUISE – July 6-19, 2005 - 290 days till departure!
I have received deposits from 13 people who plan to join us on a river cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Basic cost of the trip is $4,099 per person (twin). We are doing this trip through Collette Vacations and in conjunction with Smithsonian Journeys Travel Adventures. I have seven more guaranteed spaces, so if you are interested, let me know.
