"Flying is the second greatest thrill for a pilot. Landing is the first."

Kevin is a corporate pilot for ACE-INA International Insurance , a provider of insurance and reinsurance products and services for clients around the world. He is a Captain on a Gulfstream for the company. Prior to his present career move, he was employed by New World Aviation, Inc. of Allentown, Pennsylvania, a leader in worldwide charter, aircraft management, maintenance support, avionics and sales. Kevin was a Captain on the company's Lear Jet aircraft.

Kevin is a recently (early 2002) furloughed U.S. Airways pilot. He was personally affected by the post 9/11 reorganization of U.S. Airways. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he flew 737s. He completed his initial training with U.S. Airways during the summer of 1999 and went on line as First Officer in August, 1999, flying an F-100, first out of Charlotte, then out of Pittsburgh. In the Spring of 2001 he was certified on the 737, and reassigned to Philadelphia. In addition to his primary career, Kevin operates three specialized Aviation Web sites.

Kevin resides in Moorestown, New Jersey with his wife, Tracy. They were married on September 8, 2001 in Moorestown, New Jersey. Click here to view an album of Kevin and Tracy's wedding pictures. They have two children, Michael Joseph and Mary Grace.

Kevin and Tracy - September 8, 2001

During 1997 and 1998, Kevin lived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he flew Lear Jets for Florida Jet Center in Fort Lauderdale, a Charter Jet company. Kevin has been a pilot since High School. A graduate of both Burlington County College and The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Kevin has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, but his primary career field is Aviation. On September 17, 1998, just three days after his 23rd birthday, Kevin earned his ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) license and his rating for Lear Jet Aircraft -- a major milestone in his aviation career. He was interviewed by U.S. Airways in Pittsburgh in April, 1999 and offered a position effective June, 1999.

"Aviation in itself is not inherently dangerous.

But to an even greater degree than the sea, it is terribly unforgiving of any carelessness, incapacity or neglect."
