The only hotel I have specific information on is the West County in Dublin. It is a short bus ride to the center of town, relatively modern and has its own bar and restaurant. Ellen Barrett, my fellow group leader from Pitman H.S., actually selected the hotel based on a past trip to Ireland and indicated it also has entertainment at night.

NEXT MEETING

Our final pre-trip meeting will be held on Saturday morning, August 1 at 10:15 a.m. at the Burlington County College Library -- same location as the last one, in the Teleconference Center. Again, for those who aren't familiar with the building, it is the one closest to the corner of the Pemberton Bypass and County Route 530 -- identified by the white silo-like rotunda. At that meeting I will distribute the following:

Airline tickets; EF backpacks; EF luggage tags; EF Journals; Currency conversion charts; Maps to my home in Vincentown (for bus to Newark); Irish currency (for those who ordered it); Pins and buttons for distribution in Ireland.

The meeting will not take long -- but it is important, in case there are any last minute changes or any problems with airline tickets. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please let me know in advance so I can make arrangements to get the appropriate materials to you.

BUS TO NEWARK AIRPORT

All arrangements have been made for our bus to the Newark Airport. 19 out of the 20 of us will be using the bus, provided by Academy Bus Lines. The bus will be leaving Vincentown at 6:00 p.m. I will have maps for you at the meeting on Aug. 1.
