Lion Paws

"This is a pair of huge lion paws, which appear to have been fashioned into fingerless gloves. On the back of the paws strange symbols have been painted onto the tawny fur."

Retribution

"Of all the magical weapons feared by evil-doers, Retribution usually comes near the top of the list. A massive mace that would pack a considerable punch for an ordinary weapon, it has been imbued with an ancient sentience that is committed to the eradication of evil."

Retribution is a large mace, a blunt weapon in other words, it weighs in at about 7 pounds.

It requires two hands and 150 levels of fighting.combat.melee.blunt in order to wield. It is quite a hard weapon to use, and will require a reasonable bonus in both fighting.combat.melee.blunt and fighting.combat.special.weapon to use effectively.

While in combat against an evil foe, this weapon will at intervals discharge a blue nimbus of power into your opponent.  Sadly, this does minimal damage.

NOTE: However, when used against an good opponent, Retribution will leap from your hands, into your carried inventory. This is due to it's disgust at fighting good aligned opponents.

Thief Daggers

"This is one of a pair of lightweight daggers designed to allow quick movement, and cause maximum damage. It is made from fine Klatchian steel and has a delicately jewelled handle."

Thief daggers are incredibly effective sharp/pierce weapons. They are very light, approximately 1 pound each, single handed weapons. Their damage and speed make they favorable for regular combat, and when combined with Berserk, are quite lethal.

One of their other advantages is that when both are held together, they give a +1 bonus to Dexterity. A message such as this will be displayed indicating you are receiving the bonus.

> hold daggers

You hold a thief's dagger in your right hand.
As you grasp the handle of the second dagger, a tingle travels up your arms from your hands.
You hold a thief's dagger in your left hand.

WARNING: The bonus from holding both Thief Daggers can conflict with other Stat Enhancing items.

Worm Sword

"This isn't so much a sword - it's more of a large pink earthworm with a hilt. Type wormcommands to see what it can offer you."

The Worm Sword is considered by many to not be a real weapon. On the grounds that no Discerning Warrior would be seen dead carrying such a ridiculously looking weapon.

This is a blunt weapon, despite the name sword.  It begins as a reasonably poor weapon, and must be trained, in combat to be a decent weapon.

The weapons, effective level, may be measured by the amount of, "Wormcommands", it has available.  The sword must kill a number of victims between each level.  There are 13 commands in all, (Wormcommands included).

Once fully trained, this weapon is considered by some as the quintessential blunt weapon. Although many, myself included do not believe it is better than Retribution.

During combat this weapon has some special attacks of it's own, the power of which is determined by it's level.
