association, established in 1995, is a nonprofit
organization to raise funds to maintain and improve an
area of Recreation Park and the Dog Zone at the beach
where pet dogs can be exercised off-leash. These are
public parks -- you don't have to be a member of the
association to use them -- but it is up to those of us
who use these facilities to fund the improvements. Our
membership drive for 2006-07 is underway. Announcements: The Department of Parks, Recreation &
Marine approved a pilot program for dog walkers....
