4/07/08 - GlenwoodWe lose 4-0 to Glenwood in a game that we should have been winning at half. Glenwood got the physical edge in this one, couldn’t win a 50/50 in 2nd , couple of turnovers in the 2nd half led to our demise. Much to work on in this young season as we move forward and look for Sioux City to come to our house on Thursday. This too will be another good and physical match and we have two days to prepare. Join us on Thursday as we return home with the JV to start at 4:30. JV looked great, won the 50/50 battle. Night and day difference from the 1st game. They left it on the field and that is what it takes. I was very proud of them. Both goalkeepers played well, made good decisions. Darian Scott was a hammer in the back and Zachary Shea and Josh Larson played very well up top, making hard runs at goal. Scott Nelson had a beautiful free kick that won the game for LC. Well done Scotty!!! As always, Still room for improvement, but a much deserved win as JV deserved to win the game. Keep striving forward JV! |
