Tough loss here as we finished the night with Varsity ultimately losing in a 2-1 Double OT thriller.  We had numerous chances to finish,  I feel bad for the guys because they certainly left it all on the field, but, just not quite enough to win. Both sides played well and it was a competitive and entertaining match for the LC faithful.  Though the game was a tough loss, there were many good things seen that  can be built off.  Number one, we played as a team, sold out for each other, and dedicated ourselves to winning 50 / 50 balls.  OUR HOUSE! OUR BALL!  We missed many chances to put this one away and it will be tough to rally from the defeat as we face a solid Creston team this evening on the VP.  If the Varsity squad continues to play with the attitude and teamwork we did last night, the chances of something good happening tonight is great.  Defensively , Ryan Cook was everywhere, Chris Wenk showed promise at a newly crowned defensive position for the team.  Offensively we will look to improve tonight and finish.   Keep your heads up and keep fighting Varsity, let’s go get what was so elusive to us last night, Victory!  Tonight we welcome Creston to town.  This will be a varsity only COED match.  The boys match will follow the girls game which is scheduled to start at 4:30.  Thank you for your support tonight and come back again tomorrow to cheer on your Titans.

JV played well and earned yet another win for the season.  JV continues to show improvement both on the field and in the confidence/attitude areas.  Scotty Nelson, Darrien Scott and Brandon Duffy played well defensively  Zach Shea got off the snide with his the first goal of his young career.  JV did an excellent job of winning the 50/50 battle and they beat SC North to the ball all night long.  Everyone got to play and JV continues to build there confidence and attitude.  WELL DONE!  Great win for JV tonight.  JV's next game will be Thursday on the road at Kuemper.
