Bijou was the #2 PBGV in breed and all breed points 2000-2002 with limited showing on west coast. He also has won an Award of Merit or BOS at National/Regional specialties every years exhibited except one.. At 2005 World Congress specialties in an entry of 156 pbgv, he was BOS under world reknown breeder judge Nickolas Frost and first Award of Merit under respected breeder, author judge Kitty Steidel the following day. Under national specialty judge Kitty Steidel, three generations were recognized. Bijou- Award of Merit, Zouk- a grandson Award of Merit and Bru-a son Best of Opposite Sex.

In very selective breeding Bijou has produced two PBGV National Specialty Best of Opposite recognized Dogs...
