Out of all their albums I have to say this is my least favorite. I'm not saying it's a bad album it just spends less time in my CD player than the others. Led Zeppelin took a different approach to this album. Lots of acoustic numbers and experimental songs and to me their true power lies in songs where they all play. It does have its moments and a real hidden treasure is Out On The Tiles.
Two, three, four.
Ah~ah~ahhh-ah!. Hammer of the Gods On we sweep with, with threshing oar. Ah~ah~ahhh-ah!. How soft your fields so green On we sweep with threshing oar. So now you better stop Ooh~ooh. Ooh~ooh. Ooh~ooh. Ooh~ooh. Ooh~ooh. Ooh~ooh. |
Bright light almost blindin', Black night still there shinin', I can't stop, keep on climbin' Lookin' for what I knew. Her face is cracked from smilin', All the fears that she's been hidin' And it seems that pretty soon Everybody's gonna know. And her voice is sore from shoutin', My, my, my, I'm so happy, She hears them talk of new ways Her name is Brown or White or Black, My, my, my, I'm so happy, Oh there is a train that leaves the station, And if you walk you're gonna get there Ohhh~yeah-moan. You're gone. You're gone, get gone yeah. Ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, ma, If you walk you're gonna get there |
Oh!
Working from seven Everybody tryin'a tell me Watch out! I said I've been cr__yin' yeah. Do you remember mama, when I knocked upon your door? An' just one more. Just one more. |
As I walk down the highway All I do is sing this song And a train that's passin' my way helps The rhythm move along. There is no doubt about the words are clear, The voice is strong, It's oh so strong. Just a simple guy All I need from you is all your love. Ooh yeah. Ooh yeah. I'm so glad I'm livin', Stop. Standin' in the noon-day sun All I need from you is all your love. Ooh yeah. Ooh yeah. Ahh-yeah. Ahh-yeah. Ah-yeah. Ooh yeah. Ooh yeah. Ooh yeah. |

I don't know how I'm gonna tell you I can play with you no more. I don't know how I'm gonna do what mama told me My friend, the boy next door. I can't believe what people sayin': An' when I'm out I see you walkin'. That's the way. And yesterday I saw you standing by the river, And yesterday I saw you kissing tiny flowers I don't know what to say about it That's the way. Ahhh__. |
Ahh caught you smilin' at me, That's the way it should be Like a leaf is to a tree, so fine. Ahh all the good times we had, As we walk down the country lanes Well if the sun shines so bright Ahh could any love be so strong As we walk down the country lanes My, my la la la.
