D'You
Know What I
Mean? Discography
D'You Know What I Mean? was released on the 7th
July '97. The long awaited single, Oasis' first for 17 months. On release
the single made No.1 in the UK. On the first day of release the single
went platinum and sold out in some Manchester record stores, every day.
It's said that the beeping at the begging of the song hides a coded message
in Morse Code. There is also backwards speech throughout the song, mostly
parts of the song played backwards. The first verse of the song is about
going to Manchester to visit his mum.
