Liam Gallagher is said to be taking up boxing. Announced today, the hard man of rock and roll is to become a boxer. Liam is going to start amateur boxing at the end of the US tour and hopes to have an amateur bout set up for the end of the year.

Boneheads New Number Plate
��
A number plate reading "OAS 15" was bought buy an anonymous bidder at the Cheltnam auction back in December '97. The mystery bidder who payed �31,000 for this plate was not known. Only recently it has become known that Bonehead had bought the number plate for his Aston Martin. The mystery bidder was actually a Creation representative
who bonehead used to bid for him.

Noel has donated his Epiphone Supernova guitar to Children In Need. The guitar that is featured on the cover of Be Here Now has been signed by the whole band and is to be acutioned at Bonhams in London next month to raise money for the charity.

Liam And Noel Buy Maldini!

Noel and Liam Gallagher have jokingly offered to buy the Italian football captain, Maldini, for their home team, Manchester City.
��The offer came as a response to Maldini as he had sent the Gallaghers a signed shirt. Liam and Noel both watched the Italy-Russia game backstage before their gig.

Noel Redecorates

Noel Gallagher is at the moment redecorating his house. He recently replaced his door and the sign above it to a more 'subtle' sign. He has decided to use his old sign as a giant coffee table.
Noel will also be featuring on Radio 1 on Christmas Day. He will be on a program called 'Round Noel's Way'

Stones Knock Oasis

The rolling Stones band member, Keith Richards is the latest rock legend to knock Oasis. Keith said

"I've been pretty mean in my time, but these guys are obnoxious."
He was asked in the latest issue of Mojo
what he thought of their new album, 'Be Here Now', Keith answered;
���"I don't hear anything there, it's just all retro to me."
I'm sure Noel or Liam will have something to say to him.

Liams Birthday Present

Big brother Noel has given Liam an expensive �6,000
necklace for his birthday. But this is no ordinary necklace, the hippy-style
beaded necklace was once owned by their hero,
John Lennon.
Noel picked up the gift at a recent rock 'n' roll memorabilia auction.
The necklace is framed with a picture of Lennon wearing it inside. An insider
with the band said this about Liam's reaction to the present:

McCartney Slams Oasis!

One of Oasis' heroes, Paul McCartney
has accused Oasis of being big heads
with no ideas of their own. McCartney told reporters:

"They mean nothing to me. They're derivative and they think too much of
themselves. I hope for their sake that they're right, but they really mean
nothing to me. They're not my problem - Oasis's future is their problem.
I sometimes hear their songs and think, that's OK. But I hope they don't
make too much of it and start to believe their own legend because that
can start to cause problems, as others have discovered."

Noel has said that The Beatles are Oasis'
main influence
and that he likes to take bits from them.

Supernova Heights: Robbed!

Theives broke into
Noel's 'Supernova Heights'� on Liam's
birthday and stole a number af items. The
most signifficant being some of Meg's jewelery
and some personal items of theirs. Creation records deny that the burglars
got in to the house saying that they were 'detered by the alarm'. The police
are not making any comment on wether or not the house was broken
into or wether it was just the alarm triggered.

Patsy is going to be the 'new face' of Etam modeling their clothes.

At the upcoming Oasis Uk gigs the album cover to 'Be
Here Now' is to become 3D.
On stage there will be a giant clock,
front of a Rolls-Royce
and a lot of other things from the album cover. This should add some excitement

Oasis Start Rehearsals

Oasis have started rehearsing for their near future gigs. The rehearsals
are taking place at the London Docklands Arena. It seems that the gigs
will be slightly different, Oasis have a few
props on stage, which include a
red target and a
red telephone box. I don't know what these
are for but it seems that Oasis will be doing more than just playing music.

Noel and Meg are on holiday in Marbella in Spain. Noel decided to escape
all the hype of the new album and let the music do the talking. Noel and
Meg have chosen a quiter holiday than Liam and Patsy. Noel has hired a
secret mountain hideaway where he has started writing songs for Oasis'

Liam Enjoying Break

Liam, his wife Patsy and Patsy's son are enjoying a summer break near St
Tropez in the south of France. They're on a �3,000
a day boating holiday.
The couple who are also on holiday
with other friends, made the front page on most of the UK tabloids, this
is most probably due to the fact that Patsy and her friends were sunbathing
