Written by Dawn, Crystal and Daniel Castor

On the occasion of her 88th Birthday, July 1999

  G

She was hidin’ behind the door in the kitchen where we eat,

    C                                      G

Waiting for a victim, just to pinch him on the seat,

Her hands were hot and sweaty and she thought of the delight,

               D7                            G

Of the Pinchin’ she would do tonight!

Chorus:

    G                                    C                          G

Glory, Glory  Hallelujah!  Boy, a little dab will do ya,

   G                                                  C             D7

Glory, Glory  Hallelujah!  But she didn’t get to pinch my   ------ yet!

G

I brought a friend along, so he could meet my kin.

C                                                                  G

Our heads were bowed in prayer, we were about to say amen.

She pinched him a good one, he was sqwakin’ like a hen.

         D7                             G

Now he won’t come back again!

Chorus:

G                                      C                               G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  She thought she really knew ya!

                                                     C                D7                   G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  But she didn’t get to pinch my ------ yet!

G

Here came old Fred, just a comin’ through the door.

C                                                         G

He’d known her all his life, he’d been pinched  some times before.

Her hand shot out and grabbed his cheek and knocked him to the floor.

                 D7                                     G

Then he hopped to his feet, yelling MORE, MORE, MORE…

Chorus:

G                                       C                           G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!   Fred said Yabadabadoo ya’

                                                     C                D7                   G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  But she didn’t get to pinch my----- yet!

G

We went to Dairy Queen and as we walked inside,

                 C                                        G

We saw a lady bending over, she was broad and she was wide.

The urge was overwhelming, a pinch would be so nice,

              D7                                         G

But her mama said you’d better think twice!

Chorus:

G                                                C                                       G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  Watch out!  She’ll pinch an inch or two of ya’

                                                      C               D7

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  But she didn’t get to pinch my----- yet!

G

We all came home for Christmas, We were gathered  ‘round the tree.

                        C                     G

Filled with anticipation and excited and filled with glee,

I bent to get a gift, I was tempting as could be

            D7                          G

And that’s when she finally got me!  Whee!

Chorus:

G                                      C                                        G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  Boy, that pinch, it goes all through ya’!

                                        C                                D7       G

Glory, Glory Hallelujah!  That’s when she finally got me!

        C                               D7             G

And it was as good as I dreamed it’d be!

A Girl Named Leecy

A song for Grandma

By Dawn and Crystal Castor

Sang to the Tune of the “Brady Bunch”:

There’s the story of a girl named Leecy,

Who was bringing up 4 girls and a boy,

All of them had hearts of gold like their mother,

They were her Pride and Joy.

Here’s the story of  a man named Elmer,

Who was busy working hard all his life,

He picked cotton, emptied coal cars, drove a school bus

All for his kids and wife.

Then one day when those children had all grown up

And family had seemed to shrink in size

Then they looked out that big picture window

And couldn’t believe their eyes.

There were children of all sizes and ages

Running back and forth among the trees

Elmer and Leecy could hardly believe it

All these kids there were to kiss, hug and squeeze.

That’s the Keltch Bunch---- The Keltch Bunch,

That’s the way, we all became the Keltch Bunch.

Grandma Keltch

A song for grandma

Sang to the Tune of the “Beverly Hillbillies”

Come and listen to my story about a woman we love,

When you go to her house you’ll get a kiss and hug

A kiss and a hug and a pinch on the seat

If you want bigger titties you gotta eat your green beans

Blue Lake that is, French cut, wax!

Well, the next thing we know much to our surprise,

The green beans worked, when we run we get black eyes

Is it any wonder that we’re all overweight,

Instead of exercisin’ we’d rather fill our plate,

With food that is---lot’s of it----especially desert

Grandma is always full of good advice,

If you want information you have to ask her twice,

She’d always gives it freely, you wouldn’t have to beg

If you don’t’ watch Peyton---He’ll try to hump your leg—

Frisky that is---full of life, don’t stand still.
