PHANTOM'S OPERA:

New Jersey theatrical hard rock band PHANTOM'S OPERA have an exceedingly rich history. Keyboard player Jack Young having first founded the band with Alec John Such (BON JOVI) in 1969 at the age of 13! The original line-up of the band featured Alec John Such on bass and Tico Torres (BON JOVI) on drums. Dean Fasano was a former vocalist with the band before he joined MESSAGE (with Richie Sambora) and PROPHET (later replaced by Russel Arcara (ARCARA).

MESSAGE:

The history of Message is an impressive one and the band's founder, Dean Fasano has been involved with many musicians, songwriters and singers along the way. Message began in the early '80s playing the New Jersey circuit with Dean on vocals, Alec Jon Such on bassand Richie Sambora on guitar. An up and coming band called "Jon Bon Jovi and the Wild Ones" were one of the acts playing support to Message at this early time and both Alec and Richie later hooked up with Jon in BON JOVI. Another of the bands in the supporting slot was STEEL FORTUNE - their guitarist, Dave Sabo later found fame in SKID ROW. Dean signed to Led Zeppelin label Swansong but this all fell apart when John Bonham died and so he eventually joined up with pomp rockers PROPHET for their debut in 1985. The Prophet album was a great showcase for Dean and exemplified his powerful vocal range. Afer Leaving Prophet, Dean started writing songs, working with many different bands and artists including supremo guitarist Vinny Moore and melodic rockers TRIXTER. The debut by Trixter, including three songs written by Dean went platinum and their second album was co-produced by Dean. In the '90s Dean has continued writing and producing with many big names and has contributed to Richie Sambora's sols record "Stranger In The Town" and added backing vocals to Jon Bon Jovi's "Destination Anywhere" album. The original Message album "Lessons" and their second release "Fine Line" both created a lot of interest in the band. Hardly suprising as they include contributions by JON BON JOVI, ALDO NOVA, AL GREENWOOD (FOREIGNER/SPYS), MIKE WALSH (DEPARTURE) and DAVE ROSENTHAL (DEPARTURE, RED DAWN, DEEP PURPLE).
